Ups and Downs

Latest pet peeves:

-Every apple in the grocery store last week came from New Zealand.

-The produce sitting above the large "Locally Grown" sign in the grocery store was all from California.

-The cold & rainy weather meant my tomatoes have stopped ripening.

-After giving in and buying a new toaster oven I actually had to read the directions to figure out how to make toast.

-Figuring out childcare

-School has not started for preschoolers

-Peanut has cavities because bad teeth run in the family


Latest Favorites:

-Watching my Sweetpea dance the entire coreographed routine at the beginning of Backyardigans

-Hearing Peanut ask for massages and rubs because "they feel nice"

-Seeing our new discipline plan take action and be effective

-Watching the girls play together for significant portions of the day (at last!)

-Harvesting a lovely acorn squash from the garden

-Spending time with Colorado friends

-Seeing the girls kick a soccer ball around in the grass
